Emapta named 2023 cybersecurity partner by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner

With the theme, “Back to Basics”, PAW continues to focus on the fundamental nature of privacy and how people can rightfully uphold it in today’s digital world. 

Emapta joins other top Australian organizations on the 2023 AU-PAW website as staunch supporters of Privacy Awareness Week. 

The commitment to cyber security 

Emapta has long been an advocate of data security in Australia and in other regions where it holds business. 

In 2023, the company achieved several milestones in support of this advocacy. 

Its Data Privacy Policy and Data Privacy Manual were published on its online portals for clients and employees. These materials will serve as the foundation where the organization will build its future protocols and procedures for data privacy.

The company set up a Data Privacy Framework, which covers Privacy Impact Assessments, an Incident Management Playbook, and Privacy Assessment Registers. These will help ensure consistency in observing privacy laws wherever it operates. 

Finally, Emapta expects to be certified for ISO 27001 Readiness and SOC 2 Type 1 Attestation by the second quarter of 2023 through its external auditor, QRC Solutions.
