Beyond IT and Call Centers: How Emapta’s Client Insights Point to the Future of Outsourcing in 2026
The workforce has evolved. And only businesses that recalibrate how they design, manage, and scale their teams will remain at the forefront of the global talent era.
Outsourcing used to mean call centers and low-cost, generic support. Today, it’s deeply intertwined with how enterprises are reimagining their future workforces.
This shift is driven by the rise of the dedicated staffing model, which gives organizations access to high-performing, dedicated offshore teams they can seamlessly integrate into their operations with full transparency and control. Our 2025 client insights show that this shift is already well under way.
What’s Driving the New Era of Outsourcing?
To understand how the changes are playing out in real organizations, we engaged an independent third-party research firm to gather feedback from Emapta clients spanning 30 countries, from startups and midmarket organizations to large global enterprises.
These clients run teams in finance and accounting, data and analytics, AI, engineering, supply chain, healthcare and customer experience. We wanted to understand:
- Why they chose a dedicated staffing model instead of traditional outsourcing
- What matters most when they choose a global workforce partner
- How Emapta compares with other providers they work with or have considered
One thing is clear: Outsourcing is no longer about labor arbitrage. Leading businesses across industries put outsourcing at the heart of their growth strategy. According to Everest Group, 94% of enterprises say outsourcing plays a significant role in their workforce transformation strategy.
Why Businesses Choose a Dedicated Staffing Model
The study looked at why customers chose a dedicated staffing model instead of traditional BPO or similar outsourcing arrangements. For many of these organizations, the dedicated staffing model gives them the control and quality of an in-house team with the global reach and operational support of a specialist partner.
The short answer is that they get control over their team and support for the elements of workforce management that are difficult to handle alone in another country.
The numbers are consistent. Almost all customers said help with compliance, employment law, HR, and payroll was important or very important in choosing the dedicated staffing model over other options. Nine out of ten businesses (90%) also highlighted having final decision-making power over their outsourced team and getting hands-on help with recruiting.
On top of that, most respondents cared about being able to choose and manage their team directly and about having a dedicated team with continuity and low staff turnover. Many also valued practical support with IT services and office or working space.
Unlike traditional BPOs, where businesses are constrained by rigid contracts, shared multi-client teams, and little to no control over team selection or performance, the dedicated staffing model enables a value-driven strategic partnership with full transparency, maximum control, and the flexibility to scale teams and capabilities on demand.
This is why more companies are moving from traditional BPO and other outsourcing models into dedicated staffing for long-term work. Businesses want real ownership of their team and a commitment to maintaining culture and structured processes, without having to set up their own local entity and operations team.
What Customers Care About Most in a Workforce Partner
When clients explain why they chose Emapta and why they stay, cost is rarely the main reason. Instead, they point to a transparent pricing model, the ability to support complex, cross-functional teams across industries, and a partnership focused on building long-term capability rather than short-term savings. The study’s findings reinforce this story.
Transparent pricing comes first
The research shows that transparent pricing is the single most important factor driving client choice. In the study, 62% of respondents ranked a transparent pricing structure among their top three reasons for choosing Emapta, making it the most frequently cited driver overall.
At its core, transparent pricing means clarity. Clients want to see exactly how their investment is allocated, from individual salaries to the services that support them, including HR, IT, office infrastructure, compliance, and security. They want pricing that is easy to understand, explain, and defend, without blended rates or hidden margins.
This principle is foundational to how Emapta operates. Clients receive a clear, itemized view of compensation and service costs, with no salary markups and no inflated margins. Pricing remains simple and predictable, giving leadership teams full confidence to plan, scale, and make long-term workforce decisions.
A wide range of roles and real specialization
Beyond transparent pricing, clients also value Emapta’s ability to support diverse and specialized teams. In the study, most respondents ranked Emapta’s ability to provide a range of roles among their top three reasons for choosing the company. This was followed by specialization in the outsourced roles and industry-specific expertise as key factors in their decision.
Midmarket and enterprise customers lean even more on industry know-how. For this group, industry specialization was about 11 percentage points more important than for the overall sample.
The message is clear. Businesses are not looking for generic offshore labor. They want the top 1%, highly skilled, AI-ready talent in finance, technology, mortgage, healthcare, supply chain, customer experience and other specialized functions, embedded into their brand culture and way of working.
Behind this range and depth of roles is the Emapta Talent Marketplace (ETM), a proprietary talent engine that helps clients access pre-vetted, pre-sourced professionals and shortens hiring timelines by as much as 60% for complex, function-critical roles. This curated, Emapta-only talent ecosystem gives you a sustained advantage in finding and retaining the right people.
Cost still matters, but it is not the whole story
What the results suggest is that many customers see cost savings as the starting point. But choosing providers is based on who is most transparent, who can cover the roles they need, and who has real specialization in their function and industry.
How Emapta Stacks Up Against Other Providers
Customers were asked to compare Emapta with other providers they know or have considered across core criteria, including pricing, role coverage, specialization, and operational support.
Across every measure, Emapta stands ahead of the competition. Transparent pricing is the clear standout, earning approval from over two-thirds of respondents and cementing its position as a defining point of difference built on clarity and trust.
Close behind is Emapta’s ability to provide a broad range of roles, reflecting clients’ confidence in its capacity to build complete, cross-functional teams rather than simply filling isolated positions.
Cost competitiveness is another area of strength. Clients recognize that Emapta delivers meaningful savings without compromising quality, control, or transparency.
Specialization further reinforces this advantage. Customers see strong alignment between the skills they require and the talent delivered, underscoring Emapta’s expertise in the roles it supports.
Operational support completes the picture. From responsive onshore account management to reliable IT support, clients value the accessible, hands-on partnership that keeps their teams running smoothly and performing at their best.
Taken together, these results point to where outsourcing is heading in 2026 and beyond: dedicated, high-skilled offshore teams built for long-term control and performance, supported by transparent pricing, strong local oversight, and flexible operating models rather than traditional lock-in outsourcing.
