During the first-ever virtual Core Town Hall, CEO Tim Vorbach extended his thanks to everyone recognizing the hard work and dedication of the 310-strong workforce despite the obstacles the pandemic brought.

“The collective self-sacrifice will always be remembered, and in many ways, it’s been a galvanizing experience for our company, like with steel when you apply extreme pressure on it, it doesn’t break, it becomes stronger,” Tim stated.

Despite the restrictions and limitations brought about by the pandemic, Emapta significantly grew into a stronger, bigger, and faster workforce with a total of 3,819 employees. The company also welcomed hundreds of new clients as part of the Emapta family.

FASTER: Our Company Values

In his speech, Tim emphasized the importance of Emapta’s new company values: Flexible, Aspirational, Synchronized, Transparent, Empowered, and Relationship-centered or “FASTER,” a statement of vision and commitment of what the company stands for and what it continues to aspire.

Core team members who have lived these values were recognized during the Town Hall as CEO awardees and FASTER ambassadors. “I am extremely happy that we are formally recognizing our team members who embody these values as our CEO Awardees and FASTER Values Ambassadors,” Tim said.

To inspire more employees to embody the company values in their daily tasks, Emapta will continue to recognize team members who prove to be worthy of the CEO Award and FASTER Values Ambassadorship.

BIGGER: Global Expansion

Tim also broke the news about Emapta’s expansion overseas, announcing that the company’s incorporation in the US, New Zealand, Singapore, and Sri Lanka have been completed, with Vietnam and Malaysia also going active through joint ventures and partnerships.

Despite the pandemic raging on, Emapta is currently amplifying its support to the US market, actively ramping up resources across all key departments to extend the company’s capability and support to both clients and staff.

“This will strengthen our team, spread the load, and relieve critical team members, who up until now, have been required to extend their work hours. These additional resources are being sourced and will be in place as soon as we secure the right people,” he said.

STRONGER: Investment in Our People

Emapta’s expansion will certainly boost the company’s capability to cover requests of clients looking to build teams in multiple regions. And as Emapta grows abroad, Tim assured the core team of the company will continue to center its investment on its Philippines team.

With all the positive development, Tim believes Emapta will continue to thrive as it had in the past 11 years, reiterating the importance of everyone’s work the company’s continuing success.

“Just as how we survived, innovated, and have grown the past 11 years, I am positive that there is no way to go but up and onwards. Not only, would this not be possible without all of you, but this growth and success is also you, the Emapta core family. We share one heart and one goal,” he said.

Tim ended his speech with a quote he told a newspaper back in 1995 that reads, “As with any service industry, the most important element is getting the right people.”

I am honored and privileged to welcome everyone to our first Emapta Core Virtual Townhall. The last event closest to this one happened 2 years ago in April 2018 and it was such a great experience to meet all the growing teams.

I can’t imagine how we would do it today when our numbers have more than doubled, but I’m sure it would have been fun, but for now, we are grateful to be healthy and safe meeting virtually.

I am looking forward to seeing the Meet the Team videos and put some faces on the names of our brave core teams who work very hard supporting the Emapta organization.

And I would also like to share some important milestones our company has achieved and our plans going forward.

Despite this unprecedented and relentless covid-19 pandemic, I am very thankful that our company continues to grow.

Since last year to date, we are fortunate to welcome hundreds of new clients, and bring new jobs to 2,467 additional employees, making us a 3,819-strong workforce.

It has not been easy, especially last year, and I would like to personally thank everyone, for enduring this incredibly challenging period together, including, especially when we all reduced our workdays to maintain full employment across the company.

The collective self-sacrifice will always be remembered and in many ways, it’s been a galvanizing experience for our company, like with steel when you apply extreme pressure on it, it doesn’t break, it becomes stronger.

Fast forward to today, we are much stronger, bigger, and FASTER– and I mean Flexible, Aspirational, Synchronized, Transparent, Empowered, and Relationship-centered.

The launch of our new company values is a statement of the vision and commitment to what we stand for and what we continue to aspire to be. And I am extremely happy that we are formally recognizing our team members who embody these values as our CEO Awardees and FASTER values Ambassadors.

Speaking of bigger, am also delighted to announce we are expanding our business and presence overseas, we now have our incorporation formally completed in the US, New Zealand, Singapore and Sri Lanka, with Vietnam and Malaysia also now active thru joint venture partnerships.

Besides the expansion to other countries, we continue to invest in our Philippines operations and growing our core team and at all times our growth and focus are centered on the Philippines, but now when we receive requests from clients that are looking to build teams in multiple regions and/or source talent that is unavailable in the Philippines, we are now able to service the customer and cover their requirements across other Southeast Asian countries and beyond.

We are amplifying our support to the US market and are actively ramping up resources across all key departments to extend our capability and support to both our people, and our clients. This will strengthen our team, spread the load, and relieve critical team members, who up until now, have been required to extend their work hours. These additional resources are being sourced and will be in place as soon as we secure the right people.

Just as how we survived, innovated, and have grown the past 11 years, I am positive that there is no way to go but up and onwards. Not only, would this not be possible without all of you, but this growth and success is also you, the Emapta core family. We share one heart and goal.

I would like to end with a newspaper article written back in 1995 that had reported a quote from me, which was simply:

“As with any service industry, the most important element is getting the right people”.

26 years on, I can say, with absolute conviction, we have done exactly that, with our core team, and recognizing that our brightest days are still ahead.

Thank you and have a great day!
